CLF Seattle X CLF LA - The Yellow Brick Road to Circular Economy
With building materials responsible for 11% of global carbon emissions tied to embodied carbon, circular economy strategies are not nice-to-have, they’re a critical tool in the tool box. Our panel will share tools for informing teams, moving clients, crafting policy change, and incorporating circular economy into projects.

CLF SEA x PDX Hubs - Implementation of low embodied carbon concrete specifications
This action-oriented specifications workshop focuses on implementation of low embodied carbon concrete specifications. Together with regional leaders Diane Warner (NW Cement Council), Chris Bennett (Bennett Builds), Matt Hoffman (KPFF), Melissa Verwest (Knife River) and others, we’ll dig into how low-carbon concrete shows up in specs, procurement, and construction and how to scale it based on regional trends, project goals, and capacity.
