Kristen Dotson, program manager at Amazon's Sustainable Buildings Team, presents "Regional Criteria for Sustainable Wood Sourcing: North American Mass Timber Buildings" Commissioned by Amazon and developed by ZGF Architects, Blackbriar, NEFF, Skanska, and Sustainable Northwest, this document describes forest management best practices aimed at improving the ecological, social, and climate health of North American forests. The region-based criteria outlined within may be used to support transparent wood procurement methods, provide additional detail to third party certified products, and/or a combination of the two approaches.
